When Olympus is at our best, the world benefits. The work we do, and the products we create, help people live healthier, happier, more satisfying lives. We remain focused on our mission, and our shared future, by truly understanding, and connecting, the lives of those we touch.

We’re passionate about medical technologies, life sciences, industrial solutions, and cameras and audio. We stay true to life by staying true to the values that make us Olympus.

Our Purpose

Making people’s lives healthier, safer, and more fulfilling is the ultimate outcome of our efforts and what motivates us to come to work every day.

Our Values

The Olympus philosophy is based on our core values of integrity, empathy, long-term view, agility, and unity. We invest in great people, great ideas, great relationships, and great ways to bring them all together.

Our Culture

What makes us different makes us stronger. At Olympus, we view the world—and the people in it—through a variety of lenses. This point of view has helped us build a welcoming, united workforce and exceptional employee performance.

Passionate About Involvement

Olympus is as true to our local communities as we are to the world at large.

Through meaningful, ongoing support of regional volunteer and nonprofit efforts, we help make a difference in the lives of people who live and work in the same neighborhoods as we do. Our commitment to giving back is at the core of what we believe.

Being True to All People

A workplace where a diversity of experiences and perspectives is welcomed and encouraged isn’t just good for employee morale. It’s good for the world at large.

Olympus Americas President and CEO Nacho Abia recently reconfirmed Olympus’ commitment to diversity in the workplace by taking part in the CEO Action pledge. In doing so, he joined 800 other CEOs in declaring their adherence to actions designed to encourage trust, open-mindedness, and inclusivity.

A Partner at the Ready

The American Red Cross helps alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies—a cause close to the Olympus mission of making people’s lives safer.

Olympus works with the Red Cross to help provide shelter, food, emotional support, and other assistance in response to disastrous situations. Together, Olympus and the Red Cross turn compassion into action in times of need.

The Right Employee Environment

Ericka Pirozzi, a sponsorship specialist at Olympus, has always been proud to work for a company that helps treat cystic fibrosis patients. She is one.

Ericka’s disease made it extremely difficult for her to work in a shared open-air environment. Olympus’ new flexible work schedule policy, however, allows her to work from her home office.

Early Detection Saves Lives

More than 50,000 Americans die from colorectal cancer each year. Over 60% of these deaths could be prevented with early detection.

A platinum sponsor of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, Olympus helps raise awareness of the importance of cancer screenings in communities across the country through financial support, free screenings, and fundraising events.

Changing Lives Every Day

Barry Moseley, a system integration engineer at Olympus, makes frequent volunteer trips to devastated areas of Haiti to assist in relief efforts for displaced people.

On one such trip, he saw the opportunity to put his professional skills to work in order to facilitate satellite communications solutions for two remote medical clinics—systems that are essential for connection to the outside world.
